Sam Charner
Sam grew up in Washington, DC and went to undergrad at Vassar College, where he majored in political science and served as student body president. After graduating, he spent six years working in admissions and college counseling in New York (and got the chance to advise the school’s Model UN club). Then attended the MBA program at Michigan’s Ross School of Business and focused on social impact in a wide variety of areas (and went to a lot of basketball games). He was involved with a range of organizations, including the Center for Social Impact and was the Net Impact chapter leader. During school, he had the opportunity to work on a consulting project with a Peruvian conservation nonprofit and interned at a corporate social responsibility consulting firm. He likes politics, cooking, podcasts, and traveling (bonus if two or more of these are involved) and is excited to join the team at Net Impact!
