Positive impact leads to job satisfaction
This nationwide study by Net Impact and Rutgers University provides a revealing picture of what students and professionals most value in a job, and demonstrates how opportunities to make a positive impact at work are linked to job satisfaction.
At Net Impact, we believe that work is good for more than just a paycheck – it’s an opportunity to invest ourselves in issues that are important to us. And according to our latest research, we’re not alone. Net Impact’s Talent Report: What Workers Want in 2012 reveals that employees who say they have the opportunity to make a direct social and environmental impact through their job report higher satisfaction levels than those who don’t, by a 2:1 ratio.
