Penn State Net Impact Grad

Penn State Net Impact (PSNI) is Penn State's MBA chapter of Net Impact, a global organization of students and professionals using business to improve the world. Through speakers, workshops, field trips, panels, and discussion meetings, Penn State Net Impact focuses on a collaborative learning environment where all members help educate each other. The role of the Board of Officers is to facilitate this learning and cultivate relationships with professionals and organizations in the business world. We discuss topics related to social entrepreneurship, socially responsible investing, sustainable supply chains, sustainable growth and development, corporate citizenship, social marketing, green building, and community economic development. Our mission is to introduce, educate, explore, and implement: Introduction - introduce basic corporate social responsibility topics for basic understanding of current issues. Education - educate each other about what companies are doing today and how governments and NGOs around the world are partnering with businesses to address key issues. Exploration - explore strategies for dealing with present and future challenges. Implementation - implement lessons learned through debates, case competitions, and pro-bono consulting work.
