Upright is building a new type of quantification model for assessing the net impact of companies, with the aim of looking both at the negative as well as the positive impacts at the same time and enabling smarter decision-making for institutional investors, consumers, employees and companies themselves. Upright’s model utilizes scientific papers and machine learning to summarize how companies impact the environment, the health of people, the society at large – including the economy – and the creation and distribution of knowledge.
