The phenomenon of human trafficking and migrants smuggling particularly child trafficking, has become a critical human rights, social, humanitarian, economic, human resource development, security and safety challenge for Ghana. This problem is attested to by the United States of America's department of state in its report on trafficking of persons (June 2016, p.180: https://www.state.gov/documents/organization/258876.pdf).

Further evidence is provided by news items on “www.graphic.com.gh” Ghana’s most authoritative national newspaper (http://www.graphic.com.gh/business/business-news/us-baits-ghana-with-us-650m-aid-to-end-child-trafficking-labour.html) and “www.classfmonline.com” an FM radio station in Ghana, (http://www.classfmonline.com/1.11081842).

The above notwithstanding, critical analysis, monitoring and observation of the various strategies adopted to curb human trafficking and migrants smuggling in Ghana indicates that training, capacity building, information dissemination, educational and sensitization programs are concentrated on law enforcement agencies and other few social welfare organizations. This ignores other relevant key stakeholders such as tourism, travel and hospitality professionals, businesses and service providers.

To understand the pivotal role that the tourism, travel and hospitality industry professionals, businesses, service providers and other relevant stakeholders can play in ameliorating human trafficking and migrants smuggling (irregular, undocumented and forced migration), we presents the core services (value chain activities) that underpins the tourism, travel and hospitality industry. These includes but not limited to the following highlights:

Transport services providers (airlines, rail lines, buses, taxis, boats, ships etc.).
Accommodation facilities (hotels, guest houses, brothels, hostels, motels, home stay etc.).
Food and beverage service providers (restaurants, bars, coffee shops, indigenous/local food vendors etc.).
Recreational, leisure, entertainment, showbiz, shopping and sports facilities (strip dance clubs, cinemas, night clubs, fitness and spa centers, stadiums, casinos, museums, parks, grocery shops, super markets, shopping malls and centers etc.).
Professional intermediaries (airports, train and bus terminal officials, employees and operatives, destination management organizations, tour operators, travel agencies, communication and internet center attendants, tour guides, national, regional, local and community tourism agencies, departments and institutions etc.).

From the above constructs, research, analysis, evaluations, professional and local knowledge perspectives, it is justifiable to state that, the tourism, travel and hospitality industry, constitute the unintended facilitator of the human trafficking and migrants smuggling industry, that opens the floodgate for the blatant and obnoxious criminal abuse and exploitation of persons especially women and children, and particularly girls. This assumption is motivated by the believe that perpetrators can hardly operate without accessing and/or using any of the tourism, travel and hospitality services and/or facilities mentioned above.

On the basis of our Social Entrepreneurship goals, philosophy and commitments, Kra Integrated Solutions Ltd, "Krinsol Ecotours", has accepted the challenge and had developed a project dubbed "Curbing Human Trafficking and Migrants Smuggling Initiative" for which a project concept note to source funds for implementation had already been prepared. As an industry player, our project provides human trafficking and migrants smuggling prevention, protection and prosecution training, capacity building, public education, information dissemination, sensitization and awareness raising for tourism, travel and hospitality professionals, businesses, service providers, institutions, organizations and agencies within Ghana.

To achieve our broad based and grassroots goals, objectives and targets, the coverage extends to other critical, but taken for granted or neglected stakeholders in the overall effort to curb human trafficking and migrants smuggling within Ghana. The project also captures provision of assistance, support and services for human trafficking and migrants smuggling victims.

From the perspectives of Kra Integrated Solutions Ltd, "Krinsol Ecotours" (http://www.krinsolecotours.com/) experience and background in tackling irregular, undocumented and forced migration (Human Trafficking/Migrants Smuggling), social and humanitarian response, grassroots social and economic participation, inclusion and development issues, we strongly believe tourism, travel and hospitality professionals, businesses and service providers are absolutely critical but unfortunately, taken-for-granted target groups relative to training, capacity building, public education, information dissemination and sensitization, that can provide the vital missing link, and contribute immensely to curb human trafficking and migrants smuggling particularly child trafficking in Ghana.

Unfortunately, as a newly established start-up social enterprise, providing funds for the successful and efficacious implementation of this project has become a challenge. To overcome this critical challenge, we have thought it prudent to appeal for gracious financial support from all well meaning, public spirited, social and humanitarian development donors, philanthropic individuals, organizations and institutions around the world. Our goal is to raise ten thousand United States Dollars (USD$ 10,000) through gracious donations for the benefit of potential victims and victims of human trafficking and migrants smuggling particularly those that affect children.

Security and compliance are critical concerns for property managers, and modern rental software addresses these by offering features like secure payment gateways and compliance tracking property management software. Many systems are equipped with tools to handle GDPR, PCI-DSS, and other regulatory requirements, ensuring that both guest data and financial transactions are protected. Additionally, some platforms offer features like ID verification and digital guest agreements to enhance security and streamline check-in processes.
