Did you know that off-campus students are allowed to compost too? Dropping off your compost on campus is not illegal, but instead we encourage it!

This fall , the Clark Net Impact undergrad chapter officially implemented off-campus composting. The chapter has provided paper bags for composting which are available for free at the Cooke Information Desk in the University Center. There are three easy steps to the process.
1. Pick up a free bag for composting from the information desk, or use your own reusable container
2. Compost
3. Drop off compost at any composting location on campus
Not only will this program reduce landfill waste and promote sustainability, but it will financially benefit students living in non-Clark owned housing who must pay for the city trash bags. Finally, student empowerment acts as the core of our initiative, as the idea and implementation of off-campus composting was student-designed. We continue to encourage our members to voice their ideas and work together to see their visions come alive and make a net impact on the community.
